If I wasn't going to speed glue I wouldn't even think about trying to simulate speed glue cause nothing really does. I mean there's rubbers with comparable spin and speed...you can always make something faster or softer. But the click feel isn't there to me.

So, if you're not wanting to reglue just figure out a speed and hardness and tackiness that you're comfortable with. Don't worry about "glue effect." You would probably be smart to avoid the ones that are made for glue though...like the 35deg stuff.
