I have not used FX-EL on my 6030. I was responding to the poster who wanted dwell time, and for that purpose, an all round or defensive blade works better with this rubber. I am assuming she knows her game, and that the elastic style is helpful to her.

For my style, and I suspect for yours as well, I think the livelier blade and firmer sponge work better. However, for off the table looping, the FX-EL on a ALL/DEF blade gives a feel like a slingshot. (It is great fun in practice) If your game is push, touch and hit, that slingshot may just get in the way.
