This is a good question. From my point of view, I find it very difficult to lay a decent drop shot when I'm getting a big bouncy deep spinny lob returned to me....if its close to the net maybe, if its deep in my half no way. Its much easier to smash return and hope he makes a mistake before you do. Its not very easy for me anyway, to read the spin from a lob so far back and to judge a really difficult drop return back. |
