The following message (subject: Re: Prisoner of GRİZZLY) was posted by peter rolfe, on 9/18/2008 6:25:02 PM:
Fadil, hello again. I've settled on the Dr's Special defence and resigned Grizzly to the reserve bag! Special Defence 1.5 is so much more reliable. With my limited ability I can't afford to make many unforced errors, which I was doing with Grizzly. SD is slower and give a lot of control, though no significant reversal, of course. I can vary spin from virtually none to quite a lot and still be accurate. Also I am learning that I can attack pretty well with it, though not with devastating speed. Chop is flat in flight and heavy topspin from the opposition can be dealt with quite easily. Service spin is excellent and wins plenty of popints. Blocking is accurate and effective. So, all in all, it's "goodbye, Grizzly". I hope you're finding it easier and more reliable than you did before. Regards, Peter |
