The following message (subject: Re: bh Chopping With Invert?) was posted by Rod, on 3/16/2005 3:58:38 AM:
khvn,my use of pips (755 ox these days) on bh has meant that I can never do bh loops to counter (I rarely twiddle on the bh). So if one day I stopped being a chopper, I'd end up having a really weak bh, and my bh serve returns would have to be relearned.

But I think having inverted on the bh too would be a compromise, as the pips certainly bring an added weapon to your TT armoury. Serve returns are simple (love watching my opponent really trying max spin serves, and I just push them so easily back), and you can confuse the opponent with weird dropping balls, spin reversal etc.....

If I want to attack with 755 I use flat hits, or flat hits with a side to side motion (for right- handers, pulling the blade sideways left to right as you hit, as per Dr. Neubauer's video)
