Dont let these intellectual tree stumps discourage you. It really doesn't matter what your rating is, as long as its going up and hasn't stalled.

This means you are improving.

It is probable that none of the people here have any real future in table tennis... Of course they will be quick to point out how you have no future in the sport.

As long as you are having fun and improving, you are fine! Hell, as long as you are having fun.. thats great!

As you noted improving is solely based on your competition. If you practice with higher ranked palyers its likely that you will improve your game faster.
