The following message (subject: chinese vs. jap/euro rubbers) was posted by Kevin, on 1/15/2005 11:25:55 AM:
I've heard that Japanese and European rubbers last longer and they have a different quality to them including softer sponges and more speed and spin but less control offered by tack rubbers. I was wondering if me being a penhold player, who likes the tacky rubbers would be able to play with something different like the Mendo MP or Magna or some sort of Jap/Euro offensive and looping rubbers? what kind of playing experience do the non-tacky rubbers offer that might be able to be incorporated into the penhold game? Thanks Kevin |
