The following message (subject: Processed Long Pips) was posted by Taufik, on 11/29/2004 11:15:34 PM:
Hi, Last week I soaked my 755 Ox Long pips rubber into diesel fuel for about 45 minutes. The rubber was developed, the pips were getting bigger and smoother. And when I used it to play, the spin reversal was much better. But it bounced faster, then I tried also with my new Feint Long II OX, also soaked it in diesel fuel about 45 minutes. It was much better, give much more spin reversal and I still could use it to attack/smash with it. Anyone has tried to do this? My question is what liquid I should use to give a better results? I mean to get it smoother without making it brittle, because using diesel fuel if you put the rubber in it to long then the rubber will become very brittle. Thanks n Regards. |
