I am a heavy spin player with a paddle that executes these spins well (Friendship Blue Thunder w/ RITC rubber. I play against others that use cheap, Sportscraft wood paddles with pimples. Against my heavy spin shots, these inferior players will 'bunt', or hit a very soft chip shot for fear that spin on the ball will force a bad shot. I find that if they hit the shot soft enough, they can place the ball very well. What are some strategies to not allow this to happen?
