My brother, an excellent engineer who manufactures and do a lot of CAD CAM design picked up TT and want to make his own paddle. He has spent many dozen of hours conceptualizing what he wants.

The final question he has is what KIND of wood should he get to make the paddle? He is capable of laminating etc.

Would really appreciate any advice or website or source for this info. (All wood, no graphite)

Since he is spending so much time, would be nice to have some advice from you knowledgeable experts.
