DRAW

According to a resolution proposed by the Athletes Commission approved by the Board of Directors held in Paris'2003:

"With the exception of qualification groups and the first round of the events proper there shall be no seeding by Association Nomination (3.6.3)."

According to a proposal of the Technical Committee approved by the Board of Directors held in Doha'2004 (Handbook 4.1.9.4):

"There shall not be more than 128 places in the first round of a singles and mixed doubles events, nor more than 64 places in the first round of a men's and women's doubles event, unless otherwise authorized by the Executive Committee.
