Korean RYU Ji-Hae was “punished” for cancelling her participation in the World Cup. She slipped from nr. 4 to nr. 7. However she has the chance to recover already at this weeks Korea Open.

The men’s top 30 players did not play any international competitions so there is no changes compared to the August ranking. However further down the list the results from the Commonwealth Games means a big step forward for the winner of Men’s Singles Segun TORIOLA (NIG). In the final he overcame Johnny HUANG (CAN) and the new Commonwealth Champion moves from nr. 104 to nr. 80 on the world Ranking.
