Beginner type tournament blade. I would say up to about 1800 this paddle is fine until you need more speed. Control is beautiful but at the expense of speed. Stay close to the table and you will be fine for speed even at a higher level. Once off the table some you may find yourself in a bit of trouble without the extra umph. Great blade to learn technique on though because the control it provides. I would recommend this blade for sure. Of course you can always add fast rubber to make up for its loss in speed.
