Quite hard. 84 grams. Skyline 2 Pro Blue 2.1 40. G-1 2.0 red. Weight distributes well, still in handle even as light as it is bare. It tends to stiffen up on 1-3 gears and 4-6 are quite kick oriented and then 7-10 stiffen up again. Blocks are consistent but require some form of active approach, must add something, even a little swing helps, passive is only good when the other player is loopkilling the ball with tons of power/spin. Looping is easy with Chinese rubber with a shorter more compact stroke. Maintains good speed and spin on shorter strokes. Longer strokes with tensors for spin or short for good drives. Active smash/blocks are excellent. Rallying needs some form of active ball engagement, you cannot let the blade put the ball back when the other player hits to you. This blade rewards even the lowest active engagement to the ball but no passive shots. Serve/receive is excellent with clear touch and easy to flick. Chop blocking is also easy as Kenta M does. Drives are good as well with a slight squirrel in the flat drives, viscaria tends to create direct straight balls, MK dwells a tad longer and more curvature occurs. Countering is good along with touch. I like it close to table and far away. Blade works well slow to mid on the table and slow to super fast 1-4 steps off table. Placement is easy and crystal clear feedback. Seems to play better with lower arc rubbers as the blade seems to have a quite high throw momentum. T05 and C45/48, BlueGrps C2 or 09c may only work with loop spinners but no loop driving is available as throw is uncontrolled. Great blade for those who want a slightly more flexy viscaria and more spin and much better feedback and control. Needs good technical skills, not for faint of heart.
