Sanwei Multilayer C Blade
Weight: 87 grams
Thickness: 5.9mm to 6mm
Plies: 9 wood + 8 ply carbon
Speed: off+
This is a stiff blade considering that it has 8 carbon plies that are very thin! Tested this with both Chinese and Euro rubbers and concluded that it is not too stiff compared to T1s or Gergely. It is somewhat slower than a Gergely despite the latter having only 2 plies of carbon. I can also say it is slower than T1s but faster and harder than t11+. It was good for hard smashes and topspins when I was testing it but could also be good when using attacking lp or sp rubbers. The Multilayer C blade seem to be good with any rubber hardness and despite being stiff, it can pair well with 40 degree Chinese rubbers. I do recommend medium hard rubbers like 47.5 to 48 degrees euro rubbers for the forehand for maximum power and control ratio balance. 45 degree rubbers are ideal for this.
