Very hard. Forces you use good technique. You will have to hit through the ball to generate power.
i got new provincial DHS new with blue sponge 39 degree hardness, which is almost the softest version of the blue sponge but it is still considred Hard rubber,in the beginning i felt the downside on the speed and catapult affect and i miss many many forehand easy balls due to my own technique issues, when i fix my technique and stand well with full stroke.. the forehand of this rubber is lethal weapon , my blade used is tibhar stratus powerwood 90G , and this is setup is really heavy and i recomment to use softer and lighter blade and backhand when using this rubber, i paired BF glayzer on BH, the only downside of this rubber is the speed.. any thing else is great but you have to find the right technique that works with it (good footwork and placement - no shortcut movements) , i didn't use it for long time .. but it feels very solid and durable . i would recommend this gem to anyone aiming to improve their forehand game<

A bit slower than commercial version, but more tacky and slightly more spinny. Very controllable one. For me, one of the best forehand chinese-style rubbers.
Balances between weight, speed, and control. Long lasting with resealable price.
A medium-hard sponge that generates more spin with decent control but lacks speed compared to most rubbers (For instance, Donic M1, M2 & M3).
Putting this rubber on forehand side of viscaria, unboosted. I still remember 1st day i used it, this rubber was extremely slow that i needed to hit very hard and nearly injured my shoulder. but eventually this rubber behaves "more normally". definitely a hard rubber, but the feeling is more like a slower, "very hard" euro/jap rubber. compared to commercial, i think it has less tackiness (still able to pick up ball for a fraction of second), but more bouncy. serve is very spinny with good technique, short return especially push can be performed with abundance of control. slow spinny opening has monstrous spin, but only with plenty of acceleration and fine touch to brush the ball and control the arc. the only way to fully utilize this rubber's offensive properties is by using effective weight transfer. definitely not for players who mainly use their arm and wrist to generate power. coming from years of using tensor rubber, it took me months of dilligent practice to start getting used to this rubber. throw angle is rather high, but the arc is very low and flat. combination of this rubber and viscaria needs excellent technique to control the spin and arc. requires very good care! very susceptible to be dirty, which will alter the feeling greatly.
Hurricane 3 is a bit slow compare to any other brands in FH, but monster spiny. It is only for advanced users and FH looping playing style. Use hurricane 3 only if you are good at generating force when you are FH looping. Otherwise, go for D09c and other European sticky rubber
Everything said about this Rubber. It's a bliss and a dangerous weapon in the hand of a worthy player. Full commitment loops are breat and butter with this and no wonder Ma long and co. use this rubber. It's not easy to play even though its not fast but you have to brush every ball otherwise the ballquality is not good or worse u failed. Second favourity chinese rubber behind Friendships Battle 2 imo. Both are the best of the best when it comes to chinese rubbers.
Fast rubber! Has a beautiful arc on loops, and is capable of producing awesome spin! Good for service, very tacky rubber. in my opinion T05 is no match for a boosted H3 NEO Blue Sponge. It is available in different thicknesses and hardnesses I use 2.1 2.15 41 deg. I found that 41 degrees worked well for me, but it might be too hard for people who don't use as much power on their strokes or for people who want a more bouncy feeling. ( Boosted H3 NEO Blue Sponge speed 9.2, spin 9.4, control 9.4).
Spin monster, less tacky than other hurricane, speed is better than commercial. Use FLEX BLADE and WOW.
Very good rubber. I boosted it, and this rubber is just... magic, perfect spin, and attackin loop, but, you need a very good footwork for this rubber
Too tacky and especially not effective without a booster. this is simply too slow far from the back and is not for someone who rarely moves their legs when playing. the rubber out of the package is very tacky and spinny however over time it collects too much dust, this rubber must be cleaned after every use to maintain its spin, for players who sweat on their bat(STAY AWAY, this rubber needs good maintenance). The speed of this rubber is non-existent. there is little to no (catapult effect). For players who like the spin but want more speed go for tenergy 05 or the national version of this rubber.
Great looping machine with tons of spin generated. Opponent found it hard to receive or block due to amount of unexpected topspin causing the ball to fly off the table. I dont know why this rubber is rated lower than other Hurricane 3 rubbers, but to me, this is a much livelier sponge with a more grippy top sheet than the dead Hurricane 3. Although I dont boost my rubbers, I still feel that a boosted Hurricane 3 commercial would not beat this IF one has better footwork to make use of the additional spin generated. GREAT RUBBER WORTH FOR MONEY. Also I want to clarify that the blue sponge is very different from the orange sponge. Those who think that they are the same probably could not utilise the hard hitting rubber and thus feels the same. Blue sponge is much harder than orange sponge and you need to HIT MUCH HARDER, but result is worth every effort of the stroke, which usually finishes the point.
This is one of the best rubbers I have used. Before I used to use Butteryfly T05 on both sides with Garaydia ZLC. After I found out about this rubber I bought for my f/h and I bought a Butterfly T64 just to give me good spins on my b/h. With this rubber I get really good top spins and long rallies. If you are looking for a good rubber I think this rubber is perfect for OFF gameplay.
