Can't find my past review of this blade so will review again. This is a high quality All+ class blade that many players will love. Has a distinct rather hard feel that gives a direct vibration to the hand with medium to medium hard rubbers. If your not sure what class blade to buy this blade is an excellent choice for a wide range of styles. With thinner sponge makes for a good defensive to allround choice. With harder sponge or a tensor it becomes a good offensive choice for close to mid table attackers. Loops and counters well with an excellent touch for the short game. A do all quality blade that won't break the bank. Update 2024. blade is perfect for pips players who play pips on BH due to the blade stiffness. This blade plays fast for an ALL+ blade with excellent balance and great feeling ST. or FL. handles.

I was looking for a relatively stiff hard and lightweight all+ blade and tried various models and this is the best Ive found (80g). I like the allround playing style with off tendencies and combined with harder rubbers like Xiom Vega Pro or Andro Hexer e.g it works best. I find looping quite easy, blocking is fantastic with it and because of the harder touch it provides excellent control for pushes and placement. What I like too is the long and relatively thick handle that fits even bigger hands. So everyone who likes it stiff and hard and is on the all to all+ side will probably love this blade.

Pretty stiff and hard for a control blade. Big sweet spot, but alot of vibration in the handle. Faster then apple green all play ,but more vibration, control is average compared to other all+ blades .

When I first got this blade, it felt quite hard. However, after playing with it for a few weeks, I can definitely recommend it.

Two things really surprised me about this blade:

1. The total lack of vibration. For me, this is very welcome.

2. The impressive offensive options.

It is quite rare for a blade to have enough speed and flex for looping and driving, yet still offer excellent control. Blocking with this blade is almost too easy. Practicing against 1st league players hitting extremely heavy loops, I was able to get the ball back every time.

It has quite a large blade area (so if you want to re-use old rubbers from a different blade, they may be a bit small), and the sweet spot definitely feels larger than my other 2 blades (Donic Appelgren Allplay and Donic Burn All+).

I have the anatomic handle and I absolutely love the way it feels in my hand. Also, the overall finish of the blade is the best of any blade I have ever owned. The edges are completely smooth and it just feels like a quality product.

Overall, I rate this as 9.5 / 10, as it does everything well and can be used equally well by defensive, all-round and attacking players.

To tell you the truth, i was really attracted to this blade because of how cool it looks lol. But i made a big mistake, seeing as i am a power looper, and this is pretty much a chopping blade. But i still had fun with it.

Donic Epox control is relatively soft, thin, lightweight blade that is used for chopping. It has very good control (obviously since its for choppers). The speed is actually not bad, i could loop some great shots. This blade is actually a little more offensive oriented than some lbades for cohoppers, such as the Matshushita pro. But overall, though this is a okay chopping blade, chopppers would probably prefer something a little better.
