I am an intermediate level player. I have played for 50 years plus. I have tried many tensors, classic rubbers, sticky spin rubbers, long pips, short pips and ox rubber. Why do I keep coming back to Mark V? Because it's simple...it plays with you and not against you. Those that say it is to slow are simply wrong as they have not developed the proper mechanics of the stroke to develop power. As for spin the same observation applies. No other sheet of rubber on the market is more consistent than Mark V. Blade selection is not a problem as it is compatible with many blades and styles from defender to aggressive offensive players. A word of advice to all you hot gunslingers out there struggling with consistency playing with your 90 dollar pro level rubber...do yourself a huge favor and switch to this great rubber. Max thickness glued X3 on the right blade is pure looping nirvana. 5 stars.
