The HPS version of Mark V is Awesome! Topsheet has more grip compared to regular Mark V, and sponge is more dynamic, without any bouncy feeling though. I am not sure about that but this is a non-tensor rubber. Hardness is medium-hard for sponge but the topsheet is highly elastic and provides a softer global feeling.
A very well balanced rubber : pretty good speed, excellent spin, tremendous feeling and control. Defensive strokes (chops) are very efficient and pleasant to do. Even in 2018, even with the plastic ball, Mark V HPS can fit most of the players in search of controlled but powerfull playstyle.
