I took too long to acquire this blade, now I am looking for the latest batches to get one more. What a wonderful blade, almost unbelievable! XZQ is fast (not superfast) but gives outstanding control, I believe no blade I have tried before give both. For example, Timo Boll ZLF also gives great control, but is slow compared to XZQ or even Viscaria. And Viscaria has enough speed but not a control like XZQ. Those 4 layers of synthetic fibers do a great job with dwell time, providing control. Blocking with it is super easy, and unlike manufacterer says, I found it easier to FH attack with speed balls instead of looping with high balls. Maybe due to my choice of rubbers, I am using Tibhar Hybrid MK Pro max on FH side, and this rubber is hard as a brick. And I block in the BH with Nittaku Sieger PK 50 2.0mm. Blade came with 89g which is ideal for me (between 85 and 90g). I highly recommend XZQ to players looking for better control than ALC blades maintaining equal speed.
