XIOM Vega Europe
I had to come back here and change my review. I thought the rubber was rubbish, but tried it on a different blade and it plays way better. I use it on my backhand, for forehand the sponge is too soft. Max sponge feels and looks like 2.0 since the topsheet is thicker than lets say Donic Bluefire M3. Pimples are spread wider, so even with low speed shots the rubber wraps around the ball nicely, since it just sinks into it. Its great for banana flick. Although there is a downside to this topsheet because it gets gripped by the ball on contact and then springs out wildly. Angle of the throw is way harsher, since it just sinks in and springs back, so it is harder to control in that manner when taking shots from opponent. What I mean by that is that you will have to correct all the incoming spins by adjusting the racket angle way more than with the other rubbers. It is also tensor rubber with springy sponge, so it doesn't forgive you if you missread your oponnent or you apply to much force yourself. Topsheet is not that spin sensitive and produces good spin, but the elasticity of it makes it spin sensitive. Speed is very decent, but it is easy to bottom out this rubber, which I find myself loving to do. When you smack it close to the table it hits hard. Mid distance is also ok. When you get used to its non linear nature its good for blocks aswell, high throw helps here. To sum it up I would say its is actually very good rubber in Speed/Spin department.
Small Update: I think it is the best rubber I used for my BH due to how light it is and how topsheet wraps around the ball, very elastic. Don't put it on flexxy blades though like Stiga AC, hard to control then. I used it on Tibhar IV-L and it felt great on BH, but on Yasaka SE it is straigh fire.
