I play both pengrip and shakehand style. I hadn't played for 36 years and started playing again 18 months ago.
I have tried to find a chinese rubber that would give me that wow factor, with spin, speed and control. The closest I have come was g999 and yinhe moon pro. I started dabbling with hammond beta pro, and xiom omega iv pro. Both of these rubbers produce the vicious sides spin I used to have. Omega iv pro has a wicked kick and contrary to some other people's experience, It is Mark V rubber defined and refined, a perfect attack and defense table tennis weapon that instills you with confidence. It virtually talks to the ball as you make your shot and leaves your opponent in no doubt as to what it is saying. It is brilliant against bottom spin and you can easily loop from under the table to get that sidespin I was talking about. For pengrippers it should be a dream. Unlike Tenergy 05 which I tried for many months, it is forgiving and can be very hurtful against said Tenergy opponents. I used to fear them. Now that I can produce the same spin but with more power and dire!

Personally, I think the feel, and incredible control matched with the spin and speed make it a nightmare for opponents and a winner for the wielder. Get some and get some payback.
