Bevor I tried the Victas 402 DE 2.0, I played Victas VS 401 and Tenergy 05 on forehand. I´m a forehand orientated player with a very strong fast an spinny forehand topspin playing this with chinese technique with a long arm. My german TTR-Score is between 1750-1700.
Topsheet and Sponge: The topsheet is the same like VS 401 completly non-tacky but very very grippy. High elastic with short pips. While T05 has longer pips 0,9 to 0,8mm, the topsheet of VS 402 DE is thicker then Tenergy 05 (0,9 to 0,8mm)The sponge hardness ist 50° shore a bit harder then Tenergy 05 sponge and clearly softer than VS401.
Weight: The 402 is heavy but not so extrem heavy like the 401. The weight with package ist between 107 and 112g. in 2,0mm. I took one with 107g. Without package the weight is 73,3g ...and on my Blade (Nittaku KVU 166x158mm) the weight is 55,5g (Tenergy 05 51g, VS401=59g).
Spin: The Spin is amazing and on the same level like VS401 an maybe a little bit more than the T05.
Speed: The speed on standart topspin ist a bit faster in comparison with 401 because the sponge softer with more speedglue effect. In comparison to Tenergy 05 the 402 DE is a littel bit slower. On very fast topspin with long arm the 402 ist a little bit slower than the VS401 because of the softer sponge. I think VS 401 and T05 are here on the same level, while T05 is faster when the amount of Impact is between 50 and 95 % on Topspin.
Control: This is one of the biggest advantages against T05. The T05 is little bit tricky, you have to stand always very good to the ball with Tenergy 05 and your footwork must be excellent. If not Tenergy ist not very forgiveness when your technique is not perfect. The window of the Bladeangel is much smaler on Tenergy 05 against VS 402 DE. If the bladeangel or racketangel on Topspin dosen´t fit the the ball goes out or in the net with Tenergy 05. This window of correct bladeangel on topspin is much bigger with VS402 DE. So the error-ratio is much smaller.
