I have used Dr. Neubauer Domination 1,5mm for six years. It is hard to make a mistake with this rubber, Hight control, good grip, excellent chops, easy blocks. On the other hand, after six years rubber becomes little bit boring for me. The biggest issue for me is that with this rubber it is harder to attack. Now I am starting with the thinnest Victas 401. Friction on 401 is higher, however chops are with little bit less control. Blocks are the same, despite the fact 401 is faster. But attacks are much easier and effective. After two training sessions I have decided to switch on 401. I am moving to more aggressive style. I do not think 401 is for pure choppers. Blade Xiom Agis.
After six months I can confirm all written above. I am staying at 401. During my training session I tried to switch back on Dr. Neubauer just to make a comparison. Dr. Neubauer makes my blocks shorter, more closely to the net. Also, the speed is slower what can give you time to think about my next steps. However, all for the price to be no so productive in attack.
