The initial impression was that 01 Stiff has a good control. Then again, I have it on both sides of Koki Niwa Wood and that blade has about the best control in the world. With Niwa this rubber feels rather soft and has more than a medium throw angle. It is really bouncy which creates some problems since I like to play near the table. It is nice for looping far from the table. Not made for chopping. For some reason I can't get enough spin to slow serves but the reason may be the flexibility and softness of Niwa. Fast serves and sidespins are great. I like it on BH but I need a better rubber for serves so I will change Fastarc G-1 or Yasaka Rising Dragon to FH. I think that 01 Stiff works better with stiff and hard blades. Another thing, I don't have a scale but this rubber feels a lot heavier than the reviewed 4.3. Fastarc G-1 is rated 5.5. but this feels even heavier.
