Awesome rubber for a specific style of game.
strengths....0.5 sponge..using Barricade blade
1. Lightest inverted rubber out there. Only 20-25 grams.
2. Huuuge spin for a slow non tensor. My first Tihbar and man can it create backspin
3. Open ups.....I've never seen a rubber with such a slow speed and high spin ratio (even Chinese). Over the table BH I can flick and the ball clears net by 3 feet and lands 2.5 feet from the end of the table still. I've never seen a rubber that can do that.
4. Speed......slow enough for great control but fast enough for a passive block to clear the net.
I wish more companies made different variations of this rubber...or Tihbar made a rubber like this but more for Block
The biggest weakness of this rubber is it's block. Most close to table players are blockers....the Throw is so slow and so high that the blocks will be attacked again with easy. Maybe I have to change my style and try to attack more to take advantage of that high throw. I like it more on my BH cause of the flick open ups.
So yeah maybe a blocking version of this rubber with lower throw ....same weight...probably sacrifice some spin for a better block. I'm obsessed about having a super light setup and this is the only inverted rubber weight I can handle playing with that doesn't make my blade feel like a brick. Great for a compliment rubber for an Anti or LP player.
