Customer review for Tibhar Stratus Power Wood

Tibhar Stratus Power Wood
This is an excellent topspin oriented offensive blade. It is quite fast, however not the fastest blade. It has an excellent control. But where this blade excells, is rotation. Topspin executed with this blade is quite difficult to adjust to by the opponent. The rotation is too much while the hit is very fast too. In time, I upgraded from this blade to what is, in a sense, its inner kevlar carbon version. To Stratus Samsonov Carbon. The reason was that the rebound of the blade was somewhat too flexy for me. It made me overthrough the table more often than I'd like, particularly on bh, where I had also softer rubber (Xiom Omega V EU). Due to lesser flexibility in this sense, Stratus Samsonov CB is more disciplined. In other words, being similar in kind, while Power Wood feel softer and more flexible, Samsonov CB feels harder and stiffer. While the numbers here in Revspin indicate that Power Wood is slower than Stratus Samsonov CB, that is definitely not the case. Carbon, being directly compared, is way slower and way controllable. As I said: more disciplined. Due to carbon, nevertheless, its strokes are more lethal. But in terms of feeling in the hand, Power Wood is faster.
