I have been using a Tibhar MK Hybrid on my penhold FH for at least 4 months. I love it, for its control, and forgiveness, but I also think it can improve greatly in its durability and the lack of power in the long game.
When I switched from a Xiom VII PRO to a MK Hybrid, I noticed immediately how soft it was and how forgiving the returns were. I was able to produce a massive top spin and a very controlled counter top after a couple of training sessions.
I play 3-4 times a week, and I got accustomed to the rubber quickly, however, after 3 months, I noticed a sudden drop of catapult in the rubber. Maybe I always played closed to the table, but I realized this rubber sheet lacks power or lost its power in mid/long range from the table. The rubber now has some signs of wear-out, and the sweet spot seem to be opaque compared to the rest.
I still manage to play and win many matches with the rubber, but I think I will try a K3 Hybrid next time, which is supposed to be harder and faster for the mid range. MK Hybrid was still fun to play, and I would recommend it for both BH and FH.
