have it in 1.2mm sponge....most people play with it in ox due to its amazing spin reversal and devastating chop block effects, i decided to try it out as a chopping rubber because Joo (number 1 chopper in the world) has recently switched to this from P1-r from TSP....it is fast as a squirrel on caffeine, the d.tecs sponge has tensor effect and makes flat hitting the ball super speedy and with a speed glue click....personally i find the TSP still superior for chopping due to its manipulation abilities, the Grass is less effected by spin so pop ups are less likely on bad form, however the pips speed may carry it over the end of the table....needs good hands like the TSP, however, a different kind of good hands as they are both difficult yet effective to chop with.....on maximum chops, TSP gave more backspin, however, on avarage, the grass gave more....will update if i continue to use it, for now im sticking with the P1-R
