After almost 12 years of playing and after testing so many rubbers on the forehand such as: T05, T05FX, Bryce FX, Friendship, Stiga Calibra, Dicnics 05 and others. I've found this ELP rubber which at first I used on the backhand and didn't like it. I decided to try it on forehand before changing it for another, well I must say it's the best rubber I've used. I'll keep it for a long time. It doesn't have the exaggerated arc of T05. It has very good speed both with dry and flat strokes and with spin. It has a Spin that when well worked bounces on the table and goes low (very difficult to counter-attack), topspin and loop with this rubber are the same intensity as a T05. In blocking it's excellent, it doesn't have the spring effect of butterfly, so you can kill the speed with excellent blocks, this rubber on flat stroke is the best, I can easily hit balls that come with spike effect without going off the table. The serves maybe don't have so much effect but with good technique you would get benefit from it. It doesn't have great cutting ability, pushing with this rubber is the great weakness. It's a rubber with excellent control. It's better at mid-range. At long range you have to have good technique for it to arrive with power and spin. At short range I don't recommend it as much because it has a low arc. But you can get some unstoppable forehand flicks. On counter-attack it's very fast. Although it doesn't have so much catapult, counter-attacks are very fast topspin against topspin you have to do them softly or it will go off the table. Anyway. I love it, it suits my game and has improved faults in my forehand. I try to use many driver strokes and I score many points since they come very fast and drop at the end of the table. I recommend it to intermediate players not beginners because it's fast and heavy since it's somewhat thick. And to Pros. Well it might be a bit slow. The sound of this rubber when you brush the ball is pure rubber it's a beautiful sound nothing like the others.
