Haver tried many blades including TSPBalsa 8.5, TB7, Stiga Master, tibhar IV-L IV-S, joola Rossi Extreme, Patrick chila, joola k4, with multiple rubbers. Majority have been 1.9mm +
Whilst I've had varied success, I gradually started to use slower and slower Chinese rubbers to try and get some technique and proper strokes. I got to a stage where I liked them feel off this blade with Sanwei Gear Nano rubbers. Provided great control but just lacked that additional speed over the table. Probably more my technique tbh. However I had some advise and just tried Tenergy 64 in 1.7mm on my backhand. Feels really comfortable and controlled. I actually was hoping that the off- blade would counter the speed of the rubber and it's struck a lovely balance. After having spent lots of money on more expensive blades, this cheap blade is actually more than good through for me. I've put on T05 2.1mm on the forehand and whilst it feels fine, i think I may also reduce that to 1.7mm the next time I change. Have always wanted to try the thinner rubbers and I'm glad I've done it now.
The blade actually felt good with Sanwei Gear and also with Big Dipper, but the lower throw off T64 seems to pair nicely whilst still retaining speed. I'll update my review after 3 months to see if I feel it's changed at all.
