This rubber is really good compared to other Chinese hard sponges (hurricane 3 neo 40 degrees) if you have played with both euro and Chinese type rubbers. The feeling of where the ball bounces on your blade is much higher than hurricane 40 degrees due to the sponge being slightly softer. It's not super bouncy like euro types, but what it gives is the range of low power and high power. Very good for controlling the point if you like to change up the speed and pace to throw your opponent off. Serves are great, since the catapult is not super high, and the spin is still really high. Would recommend 1 layer of baby oil or mineral oil on a outer layer ALC butterfly blade. It's my favorite at the moment. Since the feeling of ball increased so has my consistency and confidence in wanting to open-up for power shots. To compare, this version is the 39 degrees orange that I used. I have used 40 degrees B2 blue sponge, however, it's too fast for me and almost has no feeling due to the hardness. I've purchased the 39 B2 degree blue sponge in hopes that it will feel better.
