My recent blade (Pen-hold) is Butterfly Cypress Max (Hinoki, 10.0 mm thickness) and Custom made Butterfly (Pen-hold, highest grade of Hinoki (Cork S grade), 10.5 mm). Compared to Tibhar MXP (2.1 mm), Nittaku G1 (2.1 mm) has similar spin, but much less speed. The control is nice, and the throw angle is medium high (higher than MXP). The hardness is quite similar to MXP.
