I use Nittaku Fastarc C-1 on my backhand.
It took me only about ten hours of play to adjust my habits after change my Andro Hexer Grip SFX to this Nittaku rubber. And I dont want to come back to Andro, in spite of I really liked it before, because in my opinion, the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 is at least as good as Andro Hexer Grip SFX in close to table play and no doubt is much better in mid distance strikes.
Of course I know there are exists faster, spinnier and more dangerous rubbers for my opponents, but for 47 years old amateur player as I am, I think that Nittaku Fastarc C-1 is an ideal option.
I have a lot of control, quite good amount of spin and nice level of speed I'm able to handle. And what is the most important I can create various types of strikes and have a really huge fun of play.
Nittaku Fastarc C-1 is very stable and repeatable in close to table play. Blocks are easy and I have full control to place the ball where I want. My hits are not too slow, so there are not too easy to pick up for my opponent. The amount of spin I can create is a bit lower than with Andro Hexer Grip SFX but still is really good and on the other hand I have no problem to handle the incoming rotation.
When playing further away from the table, I have enough power and control at the same time, and changing/reversing of incoming rotation is not a big deal.
With the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 I can effectively do all sorts of serves - short, long, forwardspin, backspin, sidespin, no spin... It's really simple.
And one more very important thing for me - as I wrote above - I don't like the catapult effect, which is characteristic of many modern rubbers, so I'm glad that with this rubber it is practically unnoticeable.
