Translated from French.
What a surprise this blade is! I got it because I really liked its composition: limba, ALC, samba, and kiri.
This blade is truly astonishing in terms of balance between the handle and the head - it feels neutral with a Tenergy 05 Hard and a Fastarc G1 Max. In this setup, even though the Tenergy Hard is listed as hard, I can assure you that I really feel the ball penetrating into the sponge. There is no problem holding the ball to generate spin, and I would even say I have never put so much spin on the ball before. This blade is explosive but with very reassuring control; it is possible to play with small gestures close to the table and with very big gestures far from the table. I truly find this security and confidence that this blade provides. The handle is wider than DHS but thinner than some Tibhar handles. In terms of handle size, for me it is simply perfect - I feel it is neither too short nor too long. I often criticize Tibhar for being too short, DHS for being too thin, and Donic for often being too wide, so for me this one is ideal.
In terms of quality, it is flawless. The outer limba layer resembles koto in color and is just slightly softer than koto, like on the Viscaria. I find this blade both rigid at the table but with a sense of softness even with an 05 Hard, which allows keeping the ball on the table even at low speed. Far from the table, when it comes to sending a heavy ball with a flat trajectory or even with a lot of curve, there is this flexibility while being very direct. I feel like I'm playing with an OFF blade close to the table (Waldner Senso Carbon) and like I'm playing with a Ma Long 5 Provincial version far from the table. It's completely crazy not having to change your stroke and especially the penetration force to get results from close or far.
