Out of the package, the smell of booster is readily apparent. The topsheet is highly grippy, but no tackiness is apparent.
The first thing you'll notice is that the sponge hardness is not noticeable give how supple the topsheet is. The spin and speed right out of the package are both tremendous. The throw angle is noticeably quite high, and required a bit of adjustment on my part.
Away from the table looping is where this rubber really shines. The power and spin this rubber can create with proper technique is almost unfathomable. I can't say for certain this will give you as much spin as some of the high end hybrids or national team hurricanes, or as much speed as rubbers like Dignics 64, but both are maximized while still maintaining some semblance of control while also not being too difficult for players to use.
Opening loops are where you really get to see this rubber shine. Lifting backspin is pretty trivial with this rubber, and the amount of spin you can generate prevents your opponent from easily countering.
Pushing is quite good, and you're able to generate good spin and I have little trouble keeping the ball on the table, despite pushing being one of the much weaker parts of my game. The same here goes for serving.
The only negative thing I have to say about this rubber is that I've found it more difficult to smash with than a lot of other rubbers I've used recently, missing a number that I would expect to make. This might be in part due to the higher throw angle which I'm less used to, but It's not something I would be concerned with.
Ultimately, this is one of the best rubbers on the market, bar none. When you consider the price, where places like Megaspin and TableTennisStore are selling this for $40 a sheet, which is half the price of similar high-end ultra-hard rubbers like Jekyl and Hyde Z52.5 and Platinum XH, there's no better rubber.
