DHS Hurricane Long 5
Great blade - previously my 2 main blades were Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki and DHS B2X. This is a replacement for the B2X - same structure, just better in pretty much every aspect. It's more flexible than the B2X yet has more speed and slightly higher throw. It also feels much more direct with less vibration and has more control than the B2X. Just for some background I initially bought the B2X as a replacement for Viscaria that I felt was too hard to control for me and even though the B2X is a better controlled blade it lacked a bit of speed compared to Viscaria which I could live with but I had issues with my backhand which I initially thought was due to my less than ideal technique (Def part of the reason) but I realised that it was more to do with the handle which was a bit too narrow at the top for me. So I got the Long 5 with ST handle and that solved the issue for me and my backhand got significantly better now. Away from the table though the Stuor which is at least 4 times cheaper by the way still produces a better quality and faster ball, however for mid and close to the table game it's too fast for me. Overall after testing 10+ blades this one provides the best balance for me. Currently I play with Hurricane 3 National H41 forehand and DNA Platinum H backhand.
Edit: tried H3 neo H37 on BH - it works much better with this blade. In general suits low throw rubbers much better
