One of the fastest all wood blade I played with. Apart from the control which is equally match which some current blades also have, hl3 has tones of spin to keep the ball in the table rather than over shooting unlike other off+ blades I have tried in the past. Hl3 suit both Chinese and European rubbers. Super fast rubber are not advisable unless you want to lounch a rocket. Despite a fast blade, the short game is not effected at all for me . The blade have gears for definite. This blade excells in topspin game due to high throw and flex , it's true the sweet spot is Hugh which is only seen before in composite blades. My blade is 92g and the build quality is very high with slightly better handle on flared version compared to pg7 alikes.
