Out of package, this rubber seems very very slow. The ball basically sticks to the topsheet, and it requires a huge adjustment to your stroke. The sponge feels very dead, very flat, and non-reactive.
After a few more sessions and adding some baby oil, the sponge starts to engage the ball more. The speed becomes a little better, and the tackiness wears off.
Im not a big fan of this rubber, as I want something more bouncy. If you can create your own power though, Im sure it would play fine. The longer you play with it, the more you come to appreciate the racket. I feel the rubber needs to be on a very fast blade, Viscaria and above. That way it doesnt feel so slow and you can get decent speed.
This rubber plays significantly better with booster.
