I've been using this rubber since its release in 2017 - before that I used the M1, then I experimented with the Tenergy, but I always came back to the Z1. Even in 2025 I'm still using it, although Donic has already introduced a successor - the reason? I don't miss anything about this rubber.
Using it on my FH in max+ size - offering me enough power for my attacking style, spin is very good (on new rubbers, in time it is getting significantly worse), control (compare to speed) is awesome. I'm able to play/receive very short, same as perform spiny spins for chops or perform massive narrow shots from mid distance. Universal rubber.
The price went higher in recent years, but still reasonable - I'm still wondering who is paying more (for less) for Tenergy.
