Finally I have the chance to test this so-called rubber. But instead of using it on backhand, I am trying it on my forehand. And paired with an ALC inner type blade (Hurricane Long). I was never a big fan of inner carbon blades, but the combination of HL and C2 has showed outstanding. C2 is what I always believed the best Hurricane to be. It has great amount of spin, generates decent speed, and allows to control the offensive game while hard hitting. Because to get the maximum performance of this rubber you must hard hit the ball when attacking. But when you make a proper weigh transfer and fast arm swing, the reward is big. It is important to notice C2 does NOT catapult the ball like Tenergy 05, for example. There is no easy speed, you must put effort to make the ball go fast. A lot of rubbers behave like this nowadays, but what I liked in C2 is the control you have when looping fast. When you engage a loop against loop play, the feeling is you can not miss even if you want. To make a brief comparison, I tried J&H 55.0 from my partner, and the control is much worse. Just can not say anything about durability beacause my C2 has only few weeks. But I hope it last longer than the Bluestar A1 I was using before. A1 died after 3 to 4 months. I expect C2 to last 6 months, that would be acceptable to me.
