I started playing after 18 years before i was using Jun Mitzutani ZLC with Tenergy 05 both sides after i started playing again i found this set up too demanding. I made the switch to the Timo boll ALC immediately i found it provided more feeling and dwell time compared to the Jun Mizutani ZLC. This improved my confidence in playing controlled shots, particularly on the backhand side.
I found for me the ALCs balanced feel allowed for higher spin and more consistency in my short game and blocking, while still offering enough speed to finish points when needed i found it slightly slower than the Mitzutani Zlc but thats precisely why its more consistent. Great blade would definitely recommend for intermediate and above better feeling than Viscaria which is also a top quality blade.
