If you are a professional player, this is the rubber for you. If you are a club level player, this is NOT the rubber for you.
Pros: Amazing rubber for looping at mid distance. Great for flicking and starting rallies. Decent at blocking. Its a looping machine and generates a lot of spin. BUT has a trade off (see below).
Cons: Very very sensitive to incoming spin. You dont do a serve return with this rubber. You flick or loop to get the rally started. There is always a trade off. This rubber has no control. Your technique has to be perfect (hence a professional player)
You can't smash the ball and end rallies with this rubber (unless you are using the max thickness) which has no control close to the table. Trade offs again.
It is very expensive for a club level player. I can buy 2 Rakza7 sheets (which is better performance to price ratio IMO) for 1 tenergy sheet.
Secret to beating the Tenergy players in my club. Generate a lot of diff spin mixed with diff lengths, it is hard for tenergy players to control spin. They try and loop everything, or go defensive and you attack. Do not try and loop with them. Dont play to their strengths, but expose their (tenergy) weakness. Variation with high spin, and the tenergy players are out of their element - cant loop all the time and it becomes unforgiving for them. I think JO Waldner would easily dismantle tenergy pros with his ALL+ Round game.
