Ratings for 2.1mm. I played Tenergy 05 for about 1.5 years. I used it on Timo Boll ZLF blade and Timo Boll ZLC blade. I think Tenergy 05 is the best Tenergy. I like the feeling a lot more than Tenergy 05 FX. 2.1 weighs 49g. I have tried 1.9, but didn't find more control. It takes a long time to get used to Tenergy because the catapult effect is non linear - I found you have to change the racket angle a lot depending on how fast you brush the ball when looping. If you are able to close the racket angle almost flat and brush the ball with high speed then the ball will fly out with excellent spin. When you are on your A game, this rubber will deliver winners, but if you are tired or your mind is not in the game this rubber will punish you. A lot of people use this rubber without knowing how to use it effectively because they see so many pros use it. Avoid putting this on stiff blades, even pros don't do this. I like this for backhand in 2.1 because you can do flicks over table easily and loops behind the table. On forehand I find this rubber is best mid distance, but I prefer to play closer to the table. Like others have said, this rubber is amazing on looping and flicks, but everything else like chopping, blocking or pushing is just okay. You need to have excellent touch control, which takes a long time to develop.
