These are the go-to rubbers of any table tennis player who likes the jap/euro style topsheets. A fairly hard sponge but the dwell time is great on this classic rubber, I had both the L and S versions with the S on my backhand to allow for more spin and control with the L suiting my slightly faster and aggressive forehand. Quite simply the rubbers are amazingly durable, me having had them for years and although I no longer use them they have been through heavy usage and still remain very spinny.
Suitable for any level of play, some of the people who are the best players I know use this rubber as well as some beginners, it offers excellent touch and feel and can allow for a passive style of play, but at the same time it is capable of generating enough spin to end a rally. It isn't the fastest or the most attacking rubber but I often think that there is too much of an obsession on this these days and when I see someone using this rubber to control the pace of the rally before punching a backhand down the line and finishing with a whippy forehand I think that this is the one rubber that seems to have it all.
