Pretty decent product. I use this with distilled water in a mini spray bottle to clean my paddle and I always wrap the rubber with kitchen plastic wrap after I'm done. It stays in better shape for longer than when I used to use actual rubber cleaner solution. I now only use the cleaner solution if I accidentally get something on it like too much skin oil that the distilled water can't quite remove.
I think the other reviewer might have misunderstood how to use this sponge. You're using the water/cleaner to raise the surface dust/grit off of the rubber surface. The yellow side smears this liquid around the surface to pick up the filth. Then you use the blue side like a squeegee to remove the water with the suspended dirt. You CAN and SHOULD wash these sponges periodically to extend their life. Trapped dirt is an abrasive that will wear down your rubber.
