it does what you expect. It neither adds height to the trajectory of the ball nor takes height away. It's not too fast and not too slow. It just seems really good on all fronts.
For example, when I tried the Viscaria, blocking loops seemed easier, and I could push nice & low, but suddenly many opening loops against underspin went into the net. Not so with the Mizutani blade.
And when I also tried the Ovtcharov blade, it made looping against underspin easier, but blocking against topspin was more difficult, and creating a quality push was more difficult I kept popping everything up. Not so with the Mizutani blade.
I tried a few Timo Boll blades and they were extremely fast, made hitting flat shots and doing loop-kills easier, but I couldn't slow loop at all. The Mizutani on the other hand is not as fast but it is fast enough to end points with this 40+ plastic ball that I hate. :)
