This pips is really to play and hard to master. There is no reversal, and no deception at all but if you touch the ball it goes on the table with this unbelievable control. You cant miss a shot but almost none of your opponent will be disturbed by your spin. If you want to play it, you must place your shots perfectly on the line (cf : Ruwen Filus).
You can start to learn defense with it but once you are comfortable with defense just swap to curl p1r, an overall better pips. Play it really far from the table and be confident with your footwork to get every balls because it will always come back. At the table, you can use it less good version of short pips.
