→ Very Fast Blades → Butterfly Apolonia ZLC
→ Butterfly Blades → Butterfly Apolonia ZLC
Similar to my Garaydia ALC, but with a few more top gears. Has tremendous catapult effect when looping hard. More dwell time and spin than my Garaydia ALC, but it is softer and sometimes not as crisp. Well crafted. Whether it is worth the price is up to the individual player. I am glad I bought it and have it, but I can honestly say that I think Butterfly has just made too many different blade models and the difference in some of their playing characteristics is not worth the increase in price. Case in point is the $425 Zhang Jike Super ZLC. My friend and I traded rackets for about half an hour. The difference between the Zhang Jike Super ZLC, my Tiago Apolonia ZLC and my Garaydia ALC?...better fitting handle and....that's about it..! Do I have the money to buy the Zhang Jike Super ZLC? Absolutely, no problem there, but is it worth the extra $$$ over my Garaydia ALC or TA ZLC? Not to me. I prefer my Garaydia ALC, if I didn't, I would have already bought the Zhang Jike Super ZLC.
