Customer review for Andro Rasanter R37

Andro Rasanter R37
I was forced to switch to R37 from Rasant Powersponge which had been discontinued, unfortunately.
So, in a review there are my feelings of comparison between the two. Mostly I am disappointed. The R37 is overall a decent rubber. But it lacks several key features which I had loved Powersponge for:
Most of the negative feelings result from the simple fact that R37 feels significantly harder, meaning:
- it requires better footwork to make good topspin (in other words, it is less "error-tolerant")
- it is worse in short game: I felt the same when used to switch from Evolution FX-P to EL-P
Additionally, blocking "style" is different, and to my opinion, R37 is worse in this component too.
As a kind of subtle compensation, the serve appear spinnier with R37, but is is clearly not enough.
Overall, the rubber lacks the "uniqueness" of Powersponge and behaves more like a softened Stiga Mantra S or slightly softened Evolution EL-P.
Good rubber, but Powersponge was simply much better for me.
